🚴Launching Group Turbo Bike Classes at The Station by Give It A Tri!🚴 We’re so happy to announce the launch of Turbo Classes at The Station, kicking off on 31st December with a Threshold Session! These classes are designed to cater to all athletes, whether you’re building endurance, refining technique, or pushing your limits. If you’re looking to elevate your cycling game, this is the place to start.

Introductory Offer

To celebrate the launch, our first sessions are available at just ÂŁ5.00 per class. This limited-time offer is a fantastic opportunity to experience the classes and kick-start your training for 2025.

Class Options

Each Turbo Class focuses on a specific goal to ensure targeted and effective training. Here’s what’s on offer:

  • Endurance: Intensity 1/5 - Focus on building endurance through long, steady-distance rides, enhancing your body’s ability to utilise fat as fuel. It’s not just about physical stamina but also mental resilience, helping you improve both your endurance and focus over extended periods.

  • Tempo: Intensity 2/5 - All about finding and maintaining rhythm in your ride. These sessions are held at race-pace cadence, focusing on smooth pedal strokes and consistent cycle power.

  • Threshold: Intensity 3/5 - Focus on improving your functional threshold power. These sessions are held at race-pace cadence—efficient and sustainable, but challenging enough to push your limits.

  • Vo2: Intensity 4/5 - Designed to push your limits and improve your maximal oxygen consumption. By targeting the speed at which your body reaches peak oxygen uptake, these sessions enhance your ability to recover from short bursts of effort, such as sprints or climbs. With a focus on efficient lactate clearance, they help you sustain performance during intense efforts.

  • Sprints: Intensity 5/5 - High-intensity sessions to push you to your maximum heart rate, boosting power and efficiency. By targeting your fast-twitch muscle fibres, they enhance your explosive strength and overall performance in short, all-out efforts.

  • Technical: Intensity 1/5 - These sessions put an emphasis on refining pedal technique and maintaining a smooth cadence at a low intensity. Focus on steady pacing, proper form, controlled breathing, and efficient power transfer. Ideal for recovery or improving cycling mechanics, it allows you to build strength without pushing your cardiovascular limits.

You’ll always know the purpose of each class, as clear descriptions will be provided when you book. This way, you can align your sessions with your personal training goals.
