More about me...

I’ve dedicated two decades of my life to coaching, from swimming to triathlon and everything in between.

When it comes to sport, I’m not one to shy away from a challenge. Participating in the British Nationals and winning the Iron Distance swim (3.8km) in my age group at the London Serpentine were significant milestones of my sporting career. However, my focus goes beyond personal achievements; I've set up successful coaching programs, mentored athletes, and helped students secure sports scholarships along the way.

When I started my triathlon journey, it’s safe to say I made my fair share of mistakes. Looking back, having a mentor would've been a game-changer, and that’s what led me to being your coach😉. I understand how crucial it is to have someone in your corner to help, guide, motivate and keep you accountable!

Setbacks usually offer more profound lessons than successes and, in my opinion, the only failure, is not triing at all. I've had my fair share of those setbacks, including a few (6!) broken bones and a reconstructed shoulder. But each of them fuelled my determination to bounce back stronger. I've mastered the skill of adaptation, creating programs that withstand challenges and motivate people to come back fighting.

My proudest moments come from the individuals I've had the privilege to coach, watching them take their first steps into the world of triathlon and discovering the joy of racing. It’s incredibly fulfilling to witness the transformations and positive impact that sport has on the people I coach.

I'm not a coach who obsesses over race times. Sure, I want you to perform to your best, but never at the expense of your overall well-being. If you're dreaming of being the next Jan Frodeno or Lucy Charles-Barclay, Give It A Tri might not be right for you. I'm all about balance and enjoying the journey as much as the destination.
